So this is my new blog! :)

This was made so that those who cannot follow me on Tumblr can easily follow me on here. I'll be posting all of the current bible verse pictures of the day up to this date that I have all at once. Although on regular occasion, I will be posting one or two daily. I hope they help encourage and remind you of God's consistent and persistent presence in your life and the joy that only He can give. :)

kayla marie meredith… oooh how i love this wonderful girl. she is one of my bestest friends, and knows how to absolutely crack me up. ever since the first time we worked together on a project in class, we immediately clicked. we may not always agree on everything ;), but she has always been one of the most loyal and true friends who has supported and encouraged me every step of the way. she has never once judged me, and I can’t thank God enough for this girl’s friendship or her understanding heart. She’s helped get me through some really hard times, and has been my rock when I truly need help organizing and getting my life back together. It will never cease to amaze me about how many inside jokes we have had since only our junior year! we laugh 99% of the time that we’re together :) I care so much for this amazing friend; she is one of the truest of true and honest friends. i will always have her back, and im so happy to know she has mine as well.

Oh yeah, and i also owe her like 326483729734368432048 rides for all the ones she’s given me. WHAT A QUALITY GAL ;)

Happy Easter everyone! 
Never forget how much God loves you, and how much you are blessed. Jesus took the sting of sin for all of us. He bore it all. Every ounce of sin upon His shoulders. So we wouldn’t have to pay the ultimate price. Because he loved YOU. He was God’s one and ONLY son… He bore all of the pain, all for you. God gave His son, the ultimate sacrifice, so that we could live and become forgiven, remaining closer with Him. Because of Christ, we know forgiveness, and experience it daily. So that we could be saved and pure in God’s eyes once more. So that we could have that clean slate with God once again, after accepting Him into our hearts and trying to the best of our abilities to walk with Him. We are not perfect, but because of Jesus, we are forgiven, even when we are walking with Christ and mess up. Because of Jesus, we have HOPE. This was all for you. You are worth it. Because He loves YOU, and died with YOU in mind. Never forget that.

in honor of my best friend and hero, Will Kelley :)

Will is someone who there could never be enough words to say about. His life changed so many others in so many drastic ways, that they can’t all possibly be named. the number one way he changed mine though, was showing me how to live. how to TRULY live. whether that meant for Christ, for the day, or even just slugging through a hard hour. He knew how to make every second not only count, but truly MATTER. in such a way that he would absolutely change people, not just stay in his own little box and not care about anyone else. he used to keep mcdonald’s giftcards in his wallet to hand out to the homeless. he sent me random texts just to let me know how much i was loved. he wrote letters to his parents, reassuring them not to worry that were flooded with love and bible verses to turn to when he left for a ski trip during his cancer treatments. he walked me home a mile out of his way every day after school. he left his phone beside him, always on, (even at night) just in case someone needed a friend to talk to at any hour. he LOVED. he truly loved. not just cared about, or said unfulfilled and empty promises, but he LOVED and he always followed through on that, and proved it to each and every person. Will changed my life forever, and I can’t wait to see my best friend in Heaven again someday. He is my angel.

1 Chronicles 16:23

the boy (or as he would like me to say, MAN) on the guitar.. :) is my best friend in the whole world, who I have the privilege of not only calling my closest friend, but also my love :) He keeps me on such an amazing and onward track with my faith and life in general… we even worship God with hands held up high and intertwined together. i could not have asked for a better man...he is my rock in life, and has picked me up every single time i have fallen. we are basically the dream team...yup that's right. ;) haha i love being around this guy every second i can... he makes me a much better person. i thank God for giving me someone to give all the love i can to... i try and prove to him every single day that he is someone i always want in my life, and who is EXTREMELY loved. and he does the same! every girl deserves a wonderful man of God who will love her no matter what and do anything to protect and care for her. AKA Calum... his mama and daddy done raised him well ;)

middle seeestor!!! okay so basically, kayla is the best sister anyone could ever ask for. everytime i see her, even at school, i hug her just like she is my best friend. which she is :) she lives for God and like every day is her last, skipping around in life with the biggest smile I’ve ever seen (as you can see). I doubt she knows how much I admire her… gosh this girl is so gorgeous inside and out. i may be her older sister, but her light shines so brightly that it’s hard not to love and look up to this wonderful woman of Christ. i think everyone needs a kayla in their lives :)

Matthew 18:4

RILEY ROO! okay. so this little chica right here is one of my biggest sources of joy. I remember back in the day, when it felt so weird to have a newborn sister as I was entering the 7th grade… but now i cant even imagine living one day without her! i feel like her second mommy. i have loved getting to help raise her:) she has been an absolute blast and honestly is one of the funniest and smartest 5 year olds I’ve ever met, and Im wayy proud of her. i thank God for this little ball of energy.. she brings a lot of light and comic relief into our home when things may be very dark for the rest of us.  Thanks God, she’s a keeper ;)

Phil. 4:13

I thought of this after having a conversation with my mom in the doctor’s office about how hard this year has been and how much God, family, and friends have gotten me through with encouragement to find my strength… I decided to start doing this everyday picture thing in hopes of being that same kind of encouragement for all of you whenever you need it, because I know how much I needed it, and how much it not only got me through every hard time and still does, but how it changed me into a stronger woman of Christ :)
